Not bad. 8th overall means we have a real shot at Bouchard, Dobson or Boqvist. I don't think it's the case with the 11th or 12th pick. I'd probably do that trade even though the price may look big.

Would rather take my chances hoping one of the dmen falls. A bit to steep to move up 3 spots

I’d do it if we take another yakubov and vorobiev ANOTHER ONE OF STANLEY’S FAILINGS!

This is the type of deal that is much more likely to be made on the draft floor, depending on who's available.

From a neutral fan the value is probably pretty fair but unless someone unexpected slips (like Zadina, who I doubt CHI would trade out of drafting) or NYI is very high on someone they don't expect to be there at 11 I don't see them making the move.

Based on chart of the value of draft picks, Isles wouldn't entertain this unless another asset is included.

Not great value for NYI and I would rather the Hawks just take one of the high end guys at 8.

Not the worst proposal I’ve ever seen.

If Hughes was on the board, maybe.

I think the value is a bit off though.

Makes sense if it's draft day and Lou likes a player that he doesn't think will last til #11. Otherwise it doesn't make sense for NYI.
