Looking at today only, win for the Bears. Chicago got better booting Claypool from the roster and get a better pick swap. Miami is going to regret this soon in all liklihood (though Claypool turning into a good team player as soon as he leaves Chicago would be the most Bears thing ever).

Big picture, the Bears turned a 32nd overall and a 7th rounder into a sixth rounder. That's horrifically bad.

This will go down as one of the worst trades the Bears ever made. Basically a 1st rounder for a guy who never wanted to be there

Should be around 10-12 position difference in the standings between the 2 (Mia 6th to Chi’s 7th) plus a few to several compensatory 6th round picks. So it should be anywhere from like 12-18 draft positions give or take. He’s really just insurance depth for the team though they should be looking more to shore up their D.

Claypool’s attitude has cost him millions from what he displayed early on with Pitt.

Claypool is an ass but you'd probably be a hell of a lot more motivated playing for the Dolphins than the Bears.

Can’t imagine the Dolphins regret this given what the price was. Sometimes guys are traded for returns like this and get cut soon after.

It's just a swap of around 15 draft positions at the end of the draft. Worth the risk. If he doesn't fall in line, he's gone. And who knows how much of the remaining salary Chicago is picking up.

He lost his motivation while he was still playing for the Steelers.

He's poison. He'll be partying on yachts and forgetting about practice in no time.

Dolphins lost two WR's long-term to injury and Robbie Chosen is not working out, especially blocking wise. If anyone can get him back to where he was his rookie year its Coach Nerd. Lets see how this all plays out........I'm cautiously optimistic

Claypool is a big WR but he has shown no block effort.
So, they can't have gotten him for that.
Just to get rid of him, the Bears wanted that, even if they are picking up part of his contract.

Oh he sucks and thought this was an awful deal from the start (pretty sure I said that here) but there's no risk to it for the Dolphins.

Man, he's a Canadian boy too.

Can't believe he's so lazy, did he not work on a farm growing up?!
I think he is from Abbotsford.
Good enough on the field and classroom to earn a scholarship to Notre Dame.

But doesn't want to work.
