How many more lives does Jose Mourinho have until his time is up at Chelsea? Their latest performances have been abysmal. If he does get fired, who do you see coming in?

Coaching Replacement Possibilities:
-Carlo Angelotti
-Pep Guardiola
-Brendan Rodgers(lol)
-Diego Simone
-Guus Hiddink

After the weekend and Rodgers until the end of the season. Rodgers does have a history there.

Just watch. There's not a prayer of them getting the other names listed, the job eats managers up and spits them out. Maybe in the summer they could get Simeone, but I'm not sure.

Guardiola and Simone aren't on the market, they're not coming.
Hiddink and Ancelotti are former coaches, doubt they come back.

You're left with Rodgers :)

Finding the replacement is probably the biggest factor. Is it going to improve things to have the assistant finish out the year? Probably not, so you kind of want to have someone ready.

As to the last straw, it could be anything, hardly seems likely at this point that the team's going to suddenly turn around and start performing up to snuff.

Also, the reason Jose gets sacked won't be the results. I think Chelsea could live with the results. His games have embarrassed the club in the worst ways. On top of that, it's a matter of time before his games get him a very long ban, so they'd be paying him to be away from the stadium for matches. There is no way Abramovich would accept that.

Another possibility is that Koeman would leave Southampton if he was given assurances of time to do his job. He left PSV in the middle of the season once for a better job.

Mourinho was a former coach. I can see why Ancelotti might be too bitter to return, but didn't Hiddink leave on his own free will?

Hiddink would be the worst appointment they could make. Too old and doesn't have the fire or knowledge of the current players anymore.

Yeah, he did a great job there. The only reason I can think he left was because the position had no stability.

Simone and Guardiola do have current jobs, but that's not saying that they wouldn't leave for Chelsea. Guardiola maybe not so possible, but Simone could.

Rodgers would just be lol.

Yeah, Hiddink and Ancelotti are not out of the picture, as Evilo said, Mourinho was a former coach. And yes Hiddink left on his own terms.

Koeman could be an option.

I do agree that the sacking could be 50% match results and 50% bans and attitude

No way Simone leaves for an inferior club. (yeah I know that hurts).
Right now, he would only move for a step up, which would be a top 4 team in the game. And even that would be doubtful.

I get what you mean but the inferior club thing is very debatable.
Sorry but I have to argue this  (BTW I hate Chelsea so I have no bias)

Atletico just whipped Chelsea in the CL two years ago and Atletico will be in the CL next year. Chelsea probably will not.

There is also so much wrong with your comparisons, no offense. For example I'd take Koke over every midfielder at Chelsea.

Wow, please don't. So much wrong in your post it hurts.
So I guess it was by chance that Atletico mopped the floor with that same Chelsea squad 18 months ago.

FWIW Fabregas had gone on Twitter to shut down the rumours of his "revolt", saying he's got an excellent relationship with JM.

If Mou does get sacked, the next manager they hire should demand a 1 billion dollar buyout payment in the event that he gets sacked.

If we were doing a proper Chelsea Atleti.

Courtois
Azpilicueta - Godin - Gimenez - Filipe Luis
Matic - Gabi
Willian - Hazard - Koke
Griezmann

Atleti 6 - 5 Chelsea (and yes, I am a Chelsea fan)

In terms of striker order in ranking

Griezmann
Costa
Martinez
Torres
Vietto
Remy
Falcao

Oblak and Moyà are both better than Begovic fwiw.

In terms of Mourinho I completely disagree with the idea of sacking him, Michael Emanalo is responsible for the lack of improving the squad. If the worst was to happen I would be more than happy with Ancelotti returning. Would love Simeone but he isn't leaving Atleti any time soon.

Rodgers would actually be a great hire for Chelsea.

Chelsea have the best youth team in England and it goes to waste. Rodgers would be really good at getting that talent kick started in the PL.

No he wouldn't, seriously. It would be FSW 2.0. He would never be accepted and he is a tactically inept manager.

Rodhers does have his tactical warts, but he track record getting young talent PL ready is certainly a strength of his. If he goes in that interview and says I am going to put Loftus-Cheek, Solanke, Dasilva, etc. into team and supplement them with their spending power it's going to give him a leg up. And he track record backs him up on that too.
