It's plays like that which shows why Bean could use a bit more seasoning despite his excellent overall year. We have enough stick infractions as it is.
I didn’t see the play. Can you explain what happened and how more AHL seasoning will help avoid it in the future? Since, like you said, stick infractions are pretty common so was wondering what happened on this play.

Reckon we have a few guys that need some more seasoning down there. There have been times where the only thing that could save Svech's stick infractioning soul would be more time in the AHL.

From my seat, I didn’t really see anything that bad about the penalty, other than its timing. It was an unfortunate penalty to take, but the Springfield player would have been in alone on Nedeljkovic had Bean not taken him down.

I was surprised see Bean used so much on the pk last night. I don’t think I’ve noticed him being played there on the games I’ve watched on AHL Live. Bean had nice shorthanded chance on a rush that stood out. He looked to me a lot like Fleury did last year in the AHL playoffs, too good for his current level.

There was a great crowd last night. Still wish I would have had enough nerve to have bothered the scout a few rows up from my seat...

Keane had 1+1. Guess there really was an incredible amount of foresight in hoarding RD prospects.

It's very possible that Bean, McKeown, or Priskie gets called up now with yet another RHD Pesce out for some time. Perhaps they get Bogosian as a stopgap, as well, if that rumored trade discussion with the Hawks falls apart.
