Impressive win for Buzz City over the Rockets tonight.. Held Houston to only 7 in the 4th. That’s where the game was decided. LaMelo having a Ball once again.

Ja Morant is probably my favorite up and coming player right now. That guy can ball, hopefully he leads the Grizzlies to good things.

After a brief COVID layoff (opponent), the Hornets somehow come out with a win against a short handed Warriors team that was up 10 with just a few minutes remaining... Came down to a jump ball with around 10 seconds left, Hornets down 2. Hornets got the ball and called a timeout just as Draymond Green was trying to wrap it up for another jump ball, Green got upset and got a 2nd technical foul. Rozier hits 2 free throws to tie and drains an insane buzzer beater to win it. Wow! What a night for Carolina sports.

Oof, Hornets had a double-digit lead in the 3rd, Utah cut it to 1 by the end of the 3rd, and then proceeded to go on a 20-2 run to start the 4th. Jazz win by 22. Also Hayward suffered another hand injury, had one earlier in the season :help:

HUGE win for the Hornets against a the Suns, a top western team, on the road today. Down 17 early in the 2nd quarter, came back from that and wound up winning a close one despite some questionable reffing. LaMelo started out slow but was clutch down the stretch, Booker was mired by foul trouble for much of the night which was key to the victory. The East is so weak that even with a losing record the Hornets are tied for the 6th seed (.01% behind the 5th seed and only a half game out of the 4th seed). Celtics struggling big time lately and have actually dropped below the Hornets in the standings despite having 2 All-Stars (I'm LOVING it as a Hornets/Canes/Panthers fan living in the Boston area).

Still a long way to go before this team is a title contender, but at the very least they are extremely fun to watch this year, while being very young and will likely make the playoffs this year. May be a quick out in the first round but playoff experience is playoff experience and Kupchak has the team heading in the right direction. Depending on how the Panthers do in the draft/free agency (especially at QB), things are looking very bright for pro sports in the Carolinas with the Canes obviously leading the way with their recent success and bright future.

Another 4th quarter comeback for the Hornets/meltdown for the Kings.

Looks like the Bagley family is trying to channel their inner Lavar Ball, Kings should have taken Doncic and saved themselves the headache.

At this point I still don’t have the Hornets on my regular viewing schedule, but I’m searching “Lamelo Ball highlights” about once a week. He’s just so much fun, like Svech for the Canes. If they can hold that playoff berth, I’ll probably start watching actual games down the stretch for the first time since like 1998.

First NBA game Ive watched in years. It was a great time, I'll probably watch them for the rest of the season. That dunk by Hayward was so sick.

If the Hornets could just play defense, man oh man...

Let’s face it, a middling near .500 team with so much hype has a lot to do with Ball and Hayward. This is an exciting team to watch for sure. I’m still trying to figure out if Borrego is the right skipper though...

It's just hilarious that he's actually good, after all the trash talk and all the shenanigans, and the shoe company and the Latvian league, all of it.

Papa Ball put two kids in the NBA. Give it up for the man.
