I agree with getting to work on these guys as well.

Debrusk- 4x4
Coyle- 6x4.5

I know Charlie didn't have a lot of leverage but WOW what a deal. If he continues to play like he has, he will cash in in 3 years and be worth it. The Bruins only have Pasta and Marchand signed for the year after this deal expires so they have plenty of room/time to plan for what this long term salary will look like. I don't love bridge deals but its such a low number and the bruins situation so unique with this player but I would be totally fine with paying market premium prices for age 25-33 of Charlie McAvoy if he is who we think he is.

if they sign krug, my assumption would be that gryz is gone eventually. with seattle
expansion draft, b's can only keep 3 D (unless they go the 8 skater route, which seems
pretty unlikely). i believe vaakanainen is exempt for that.
Lauzon is the guy under valued by Bruins fans but liked by the staff

Would he be available?

Coyle would be nuts for that

Connor contract will grab DeBrusk attention

DeBrusk has to score 30/60 this year and should

evan gold is harry potter

One of the most underrated hockey minds in the game.

No bias here, he is the best capologist/CBA mind in the NHL.

I hope that his promotion to AGM means they are grooming him to run the ship one day rather then him jump ship to another organization in the future.

As GM, Sweeney gets all the credit, and he should because he puts the staff in place. But Gold's value to the Bruins is well above what he gets credit for.

Wearing a dunce cap too.

How did they get McAvoy to agree to this???

have to think they used the Werenski contract as a comp then reminded Charlie and his agent that the team is tight to the cap at this moment but when the time comes to extend, he`ll get his $$

yes, lauzon would not be exempt from the draft. they have a ton of things to
clean up between now and then. bodies have to be going out, and hopefully
will replenish the system which needs it.
