WOW! That's really all you can say. Wonder if the Werenski/Provorov deals screwed him. I can't imagine the Bruins wouldn't have said yes to $4.9 million x 3 years months ago.

So you keep Coyle and move Stud and Frederick to the wings until Krejci and Bergeron retire?
Or Coyle

All I know is Bergeron 34 with a nagging groin issue and Krejci 33 with 2 years left on deal

Coyle can step in if there are injuries and if not is an outstanding 3 line center who can take defensive zone face offs and lighten 37 & 46 losds

He’s a beast and fits the Sweeney and my blueprint

$3.2 million in space to sign Carlo after this deal

Would you say it's actually a bit more than that, since that is with a 23-man roster, adding Carlo gets to 24, and then you're probably only keeping 22/23 guys?

This is perfect,McAvoy will be 24 when this deal is over. You will know exactly who and what he is. He will still be a RFA which you then sign to a max deal 8 years. Your all set for the next 11 years. . It may cost more this way but the odds of paying a player who is well past his prime lowered

Neely sounded like he wanted both Carlo and McAvoy to sign bridge deals,
As I’ve said many times on our text group I’d go short term on both

This gives them more money for resigning Krug and Coyle

Personally I said many times I do 3/16.5 over 6/45 I had read

$3.2 million in space to sign Carlo after this deal
I saw your tweet yesterday about the current (pre McAvoy signing) cap space being at 23 roster spots. Does this figure of 3.2 million include $ gained from dropping those roster sports? (I'm too lazy to look, and am not sure I would be able to figure it out anyway.)

Edit - saw you post a bit later.
