would you guys consider the Kid line of Charlie Conacher-Joe Primeau-Busher Jackson from Toronto as the first great line in the nhl history?

If not name some other great early liens and who do you think is the best early lines from the 1930's 40's 50's and 60's

It was a great line for sure. Too bad they only won a single Cup, but they were in the final a ton of times. Conacher is one of the best players of all-time and would be on anyone's top 10 RW list. Ditto for Jackson on the LW side. Primeau was the weakest link but still made the HHOF.

I guess I'd compare it to the Kraut Line of the Bruins. They also could have won more Cups but did not and featured three Hall of Famers.

In the 1940s the best line was the "Punch line" of Lach, Richard and Blake and it would be difficult to imagine a line that stayed together that long with three players as good as that.

Dickie Moore-Henri Richard-Maurice Richard stayed together for pretty much the whole late 50s dynasty.

The Production Line kept rotating centers, though.
