These are not even close to comparable. And I suppose in your mind there was no intent to injure on this one.

So to be clear, you also have the opinion that the Kadri suspension was justified, but Chara should be excused here?Oh come on now.
It's a simple yes or no question. Obviously I don't want something like that to happen against Pastrnak, however if you don't think there would be any Bruins fans upset if that happened I would not believe you.
A common two player scrum. Gallagher knew who he was up against. It was not Kadri blindsiding Debrusk with a retaliatory intent to injure.and Chara’s intention was what? Gallagher is clearly shorter then him... no need to crosscheck the dude in the face.
The fact you even compare the two says it all.So to be clear, you also have the opinion that the Kadri suspension was justified, but Chara should be excused here?

I really don’t think that the majority of people who don’t have a team/player bias on either situation would agree. They were both dirty and gutless plays with definite intent to injure. These are not even close to comparable.
No the fact that the majority of of 29 other fanbases not involved would clearly see intent to injure here, while you don’t says it all.The fact you even compare the two says it all.
So, to be clear, I have not spoken about the Kadri incident at all. Here it's asinine to say that Chara intended to injure Gallagher, when both players were crosschecking each other. Do you think that Gallagher intended to injure Chara? This wasn't two soldiers in a WW1 trench. It was two players exchanging "pleasantries". Anyone who has seen more than a couple of hockey games has seen this happening a million times. So to be clear, you also have the opinion that the Kadri suspension was justified, but Chara should be excused here?
I absolutely imagine you'd be completely proven wrong.I really don’t think that the majority of people who don’t have a team/player bias on either situation would agree. They were both dirty and gutless plays with definite intent to injure.
Is their point wrong though? Do you have an argument that justifies Kadri being suspended for the crosscheck on DeBrusk but excuses Chara from discipline here?

Chara calling out Gallagher for Embellishing is ironic considering the Bruins lead the league in Dives and Embellishes from game to game.
Obligatory

Tell me why you can't just blame the guy who crosschecked the other in the neck? I'm legit curious. Both guys shoving their sticks too high, cant just blame Chara cause hes tougher than Gallagher. Both should have got 2 and on we go

Didn’t touch his face.and Chara’s intention was what? Gallagher is clearly shorter then him... no need to crosscheck the dude in the face.
So in a scrum...you can crosscheck a guy in the neck? Could you post a link to that rule?Absolutely - he earned his penalty. They are not even close to comparable. One is a scrum, one was retaliatory intent to injure on an unsuspecting opponent. It is quite simple.
So in a scrum...you can crosscheck a guy in the neck? Could you post a link to that rule?
Again...he won't get a call...but why is it so hard for Bruins fans to admit he crosdchecked Gally in the neck?
