Wish Czarnik got more of a fair shake but it just didn’t work out that way with our unexpected depth this year. Hope he takes off in Calgary!
He won't be replacing Backlund or Monahan, so I'm not too concerned in that regard. If he can put up 30-35 points in our bottom 6, I'm ok with around 2.5 million. 3 million + is an overpay no matter how you look at it.
My guess is he's Jankowski's winger and takes the face-offs.
Just hoping it's under 2.5M. 3 years is a long time
Really hope it is less. For a 3/4 line C, he shouldn't be getting that much with that term.

I mean unless Ryan is going to be a RW taking faceoffs on Janks weak side, this means that Jank going to be a winger instead. Hope they keep him at center, but I don't think its happening with this signing.

That’s a bit of an exaggeration. You guys have a great core and I honestly think would be better off without him based on his age.
Bill Peters is getting close to bringing half of Carolina with him to Calgary. Gonna be interesting.
Bennett isn't going to be a center even without these signings...
Really not happy if Jank gets moved to the wing, especially with the amount of time the organization as put into developing him.
Why? 3 of those players will end up on the wing. Not even sure if Austin will make the team. Don't really know hi.
