It would be better to have each of the big 4 networks (ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC) each air one first round game and one quarterfinal with the networks rotating the rights to the last two rounds (which would air on the same network).
Having the networks share the duty of broadcasting the CFP would allow all CFP games to start on time because there would be no chance for two games on the same network overlapping (i.e. the end of one game taking place while another gets just underway).
