Phillips finished his junior career with a p/gp of 1.307. That's up there for WHL players born after 1995. Not too far behind Draisaitl(1.350) and Barzal(1.376) and ahead of players like Point(1.286), Reinhart(1.276), Stone(1.276), Patrick, Cozens, Yammamoto, and Glass.

Think he's ready for a big AHL year and maybe a 3-4 game stretch with the Flames as a callup.

Kinnvall leads all SHL Dmen with 11 pts in 8 games. Personally think this guy has a solid case for being our #2 prospect

I think this is a three headed race between Phillips, Gawdin and Mackey.
I went with Gawdin as I think he's the most surefire to play in the NHL between the three; Phillips has the highest ceiling, and I honestly know nothing about Mackey; I will say this, it is very hard for me to get it up for a senior getting love out of US colleges as a legitimate prospect.

Remember how much hub-bub there was around Schultz when he signed with Edmonton, like he was going to be a legit player... he's pretty much just a bottom guy in the NHL (great on him for carving out a career) and he was much more touted. I don't even have to go into the Jimmy Vesey's of the world, or the other guys. It was my main argument against Jankowski for years in our system... a guy who doesn't get fanfare until their senior year doesn't tend to hold much value.
