I want to replace my helmet with something new, which one should I get or do you recommend something else?

I really love the look of the V10, but some people say it's not as comfortable.

The 9500 has a really nice custom adjustment on the back of it for a secure fit.

V10... The 9500 looks like a space helmet.

try them on. I know that the CCM V10 and Bauer 9900 fit different, im sure its the same for 9500.

If they both fit, go by looks. the CCM is lower profile and IMO looks better

Whichever fits, screw what other people think about your appearance.

ccm looks nicer imo but its not a fashionshow, personally i think no one can touch bauer helmets performance wise
i just bought a 7500 bucket last week and wore it twice since then.... very happy with my purchase

(the 7500 is the NEW updated version of the super popular discontinued 5500 helmet which is arguably one of the best helmets ever made at a reasonable price)

the 9500 is different fit than the newer 9900. the 9900 fits better, but still looks like a space helmet. v10 looks nicer, especially with a visor. if you're playing non- contact hockey and don't want to spend too much, a v08 or 5100 will also look very nice and are used commonly by pros.

Was also taking a gander at the 8500, also a great looking helmet.

V10. Used both and 9500 is a crappy helmet. To much padding, I hate it. V10 is the best helmet I've had, and it looks good imo.

    Indeed.

Also, the 9500 and V10 are both EPP helmets (hard foam with gel pads), are you sure that's what you want? A lot of guys still prefer VN helmets (the more traditional softer foam with no gel pads), which would mean a helmet like the 5100 from Bauer, or the V08 from CCM.

V10. I have one and if they're still around when i have to get a new one ill buy it again and again. It's such a nice fit on youre head espically with the memory foam and really comfortable.
