I see CCM 852s on hockeymonkey for $150ish.

I need new skates, they have my size 11.5 E.

Does anyone have any info from personal experience, good bad etc?

I am a beginner/just past beginner level skater. I think these are in my range.

I have ccm252s at the minute, and just want a better skate, but don't want to spend top dollar, because I am not at a level worthy of it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

They don't have it in 11.5 E though. I need the wide foot, I am assuming that the C width is narrower again.

But thanks for the suggestion. Are the 852's not that good?

They're middle of the road, better than average. If you're a beginner, they'd be perfectly fine.
