For those of you watching Torts from afar, he has made changes to his coaching style and is becoming more of a players coach. Not a full on players coach but he has made changes. He says this year that he plans to open up the offense a bit more, so we shall see how it goes with Laine.
As for the trade, I am sure both teams got the most they could get given the circumstances. Very few trades can he judged the day of the trade, it takes time, often years to see how it turns out.
