f***ing Gaudreau.

Bad result but could have been worse. We’ll take it and move on

Costly 2 points, but still can't stop laughing after that back&forth by Laine&Gaudreau

Seems like I missed a rollercoaster of a game. :D

That OT goal lol. Laine should've passed one more time, but good effort in the end (not that we necessarily would've wanted that effort but okay 5 points for Johnny is worth some mental points for next year I guess). Johnny celebration felt real. Maybe we should call him Johnny "Wings" Gaudreau.

Not the worst night in the end with Hawks winning and some of the further tanks also getting points. It's still wide open or close, 4-way tankathon. Who would've thought a few weeks ago that Philly would be #5 tank now but at least there's some cushion.

Frankly, Johnny's comment about "doing everything to help the team win" was really annoying. Here is a guy who has not had a goal in over a month all of a sudden gushing about winning ???? Give me a break.

I guess you missed the part where he said “I’m a leader on this team and the youngest guys are looking at me to show them how to win.”

I thought it was a great answer from a veteran. And yeah, it scares the hell out of me as someone e advocating for the tank, but as a player you want nothing less than that from your best player.

Johnny needs a temporary equipment allergy.

In all seriousness if they're playing then they need to play the right way. Look at how Boston always plays the right way, and think about how many years it took for them to establish that. Let's not unlearn what little institutionalized skill we have.

It's not just about skill, but also about system and lines.

Example. If I'm not mistaken, the intention was for the team to play fast hockey with good puck control. And I'm wondering why the defensemen aren't used more in transition to OZ? I understand that I can't expect players like Jenner, Foudy, the 4th line and Peeke to take advantage of it since they play vertical hockey, but the others?

Of course I can be wrong, I'm not specialist. I'm just trying to compare us and other teams.

Where has Johnny's "leadership" been for the past five months?
