I belong to an organization that meets once a month, regardless of temperature or inclement weather, to grill meat, drink craft beer, and enjoy a "guys night out." Our record so far is -9 degrees in February 2015. Good times.

The CIA.

You should try sautéed reindeer if you haven't already.

Everyone here okay, at least? I was taking my grandmother to an eye care specialist in New Albany and so was pretty far away, but my mother was just leaving the OSU med center at the time (saw the response, but not the event itself, thankfully). Yikes. :(

As a current osu student, today was quite scary. The final news is the student who committed the acts was an 18 year old student who pulled the fire alarm in Watt Hall and once people were outside he hit multiple students with his car and then chased after others with a machete. The cops put him down after he wouldn't comply.

This interview in the The Lantern matches the name of the student that was released by the police today. This says he was a third-year, but they are also saying he was 18.

Ain't that just a variation of the awful German 'Bielefeld doesn't exist'... joke or whatever you want to call it. Anyways, the whole ordeal confirms that humour does not exist in Germany.

For further proof check out Conan O'Brien's specials taking place in Finland and Berlin. Another one of those was pretty horrid.

That would certainly explain why Kekalainen keeps refusing to draft Finns. They don't actually exist.

That would certainly explain why Kekalainen keeps refusing to draft Finns. They don't actually exist.

Here is little off-topic for off-topic but that was interesting narrative to begin with given how out of three of the Blue Jackets prior picks before third overall of 2016 were Finnish, born and bred. Hännikäinen and Nutivaara have not exactly been given an unfair chance either to progress.

It is especially puzzling when figuring out how poor the drafts of 2003-2009 were for Finns in overall which in talent assestment, given where St. Louis were picking annually, barring no trades for picks, was dry as hell. Yet the same people are now hyped for a mythical Finnish golden generation manifesting in Barkov junior and Laine. At the same time some of those people fail to register how horrible years those indeed were in Finnish player development when Kekäläinen was the main man in St. Louis.

St. Louis for example picked Jori Lehterä in the third round of 2008, the only NHLer in of the Finns in the draft.

2003, they took Juha-Matti Aaltonen (Finnish international) in the third round, in a draft where all the Finns topped their careers at Eurasian level.

Outside those there were Rask (gone before) and Rinne, Komarov, Vatanen and Mikko Koskinen (KHL star) even available.

By the time HFboards became self-aware it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms; everywhere. It was software; in cyberspace. There was no system core; it could not be shutdown. The attack begins during 8 AM to 2 PM (Pacific Time), just as he said it would. Judgment Day.

A great tit, talitintti, was pictured feasting on brains of a mole in Joensuu in which Riverboys, Jokipojat, Nuti made his semiprofessional debut, one season prior to being drafted.

This reminds me of one day in high school when there was a squirrel in a tree outside the window in our classroom. I said, "That looks like a Pikachu."

No one laughed.

There is a new star wars as Danny, Frederik and Tapani Kansa are on joint tour.

Tapsa is critical of Frederik's workwear:

According to his owns he doesn't even own a suit and does even concerts in his travelling jeans so there won't be any extra to do. When we agreed on performing festivally in suits on concert halls, in dark suits, Reetu dug from the naphthalene some red "clown jacket" which wearing he differianted from our gang like some shaplin. Well, he is good in his own work. Genghis Khan chastens and Volga flows swift.

Reetu fired back:

We get along. Constantly we pique each other on a gig. We all of have hellova large egos and in the 60's and 70's there was no way we could have fit on the same stage.

"I have also mocked his clothes, in a way that Tapsa's civilizating (tie) looks like it had been bought from Anttila for 1,50 euros. So Tapsa can keep quiet!"

We have hope. Tours are built on hope.
