Add Stucker. I think people are sleeping on him a bit. Minnesota (his hometown school and favorite team growing up) took no notice of him out of high school, but offered him after a couple months in the USHL. He's got prototypical size and a really solid shot, and he shows good passing and ice vision in the highlights I've seen. Looks to me like he still needs a good deal of work on his skating, but there's definitely tools there to work with.

add Fortier. Would be voting for him if he were available

I only know these guys from highlight vids, but Fortier doesn't look to have any dominating gift like Sherwood has with his shot. I think Sherwood might also have a bit of a size and skating advantage, at least I can see him skating with pros more easily than Fortier.

Does anyone have a link to last year's rankings?

I went looking for it and for some reason the actual lists are invisible, even though I can see the threads.

Josef Boumedienne played with Karlberg's father in a team so if it his recommendation I would say Karlberg is number one on the list. Ryan Collins continues to be under-rated, making second place as he only begans to enter the time you can even start to judge him.

1. Karlberg
2. Collins

And so it goes. First Texier, then Carlsson, and now Vehvilainen. And I'll bet my vote for this round is next.

Bemstrom, add Fix-Wolansky.

Fortier is atleast as good of a skater as Sherwood, possibly better. This year was a little different as he had nagging leg and ankle injuries for most of the year. His shot isnt as good as Sherwoods but I believe he thinks the game at a much higher level and gets to the right areas. Hes smaller but by no means a perimeter player. Sherwood has the tools but hasnt figured out how to best use them to reach his potential. Fortier is also by all accounts a coaches dream and loved by teammates

Edit: Add puckhandling and playmaking to the list of pros od Fortier over Sherwood

You're not even funny.

Ryan Collins is barely worth playing in the AHL, let alone ever playing an NHL game.

It's so tight now, the rest doesn't matter much to me. Next adds should be in some order: Sherwood, Fortier, TFW, Berni (I know that would make it 21, but after these guys there's a dropoff IMO).

I know Ryan Collins is sort of shrugged off, but man did he look good in Traverse City last year. Wonder if he just needs a couple more years in the A.

I sincerely believe if Sherwood and Meyer (I know nobody has voted for him yet, but he made last years list) were from Brampton or Moscow they wouldn't even get considered for these polls, or even in this organization. They both have very very limited strengths.

I really think Sherwood is getting overlooked. Defense is easier to teach than those offensive skills are. Some players have it and others don't.

I know he has speed and a wicked shot but my concern as stated above is using them in a way to be effective at the next level. I mean he could become a Blake Comeau type but I dont know what I expect out of Sherwood. Physical tools are there but im not sure if he has everything needed to be an NHL regular, atleast beyond the 4th line. I would love to be wrong ofcourse but only time will tell
