Pick one) 1.6 Dylan Cozens (NHL 1.7 Buffalo)
Pretty happy with the situation Cozens in entering with the Sabres improving each year. Cozens has speed size and a great shot. He plays centre and right wing.
Pick two) 1.30 Tobias Bjornfot (NHL 1.22 Los Angeles)
I went with Bjornfot as he looked to be a minute muncher. Someone who could play on both special teams. Very please with the 8 spot jump from 30 in the HFNHL to 22 in the NHL.
Pick three) 2.35 Alex Vlasic (NHL 2.43 Chicago)
Alex has size. Alex can move his feet. I believe he has even more development ahead for him. I am worried as Chicago has plenty of high end blue line prospects already.
Pick four) 2.56 Kaedan Korczak (NHL 2.41 Vegas)
Righthanded Dman Korczak played big for Kelowna and has a mid ceiling. He is not as skilled as his teammate Lassi Thomson, but can play a strong two way game.
Pick five) 3.66 Drew Helleson (NHL 2.47 Colorado)
Drew did not get as much pub as Cam York but he also is a puck mover and has better size. When he gets to the NCAA he should get the first pair minutes he needs to get better. He also is a RHD so that helps as well.
Pick six) 4.105 Case McCarthy (NHL 4.118 New Jersey)
Plenty of opportunity in New Jersey with an up and coming squad.
Pick seven) 4.123 Roman Bychkov (NHL 5.154 Boston)
Boston has a great track record drafting lately, here is hoping that I lucked into something here.
Pick eight) 5.128 Henri Nikkanen (NHL 4.113 Winnipeg)
Pick nine) 6.159 Trent Miner (NHL 7.202 Colorado)
**This pick was traded for the rights to Cameron Rowe (undrafted)
Pick ten) 7.190 Jake Lee (NHL NOT DRAFTED)
