This may have been commented on by now, but I just suddenly realized how funny this is that this happened against Isles. If I recall correctly, didnt we have at least 1 or 2 controversial goal calls go our way against them in the p/offs last year? lol

they must hate us, wow ahaha.

I'm glad that the Canes showed a lot of life today after getting hit by all of those injuries and adjusting to all of the new guys. I will say that I really like how Trocheck has played despite the lack of points during the first few games. Hopefully this game sparks something for him and the other snakebitten guys on the team.

No, he didn't. He's gone 5 games without a goal, but prior to that, his goal drought streaks are, going backward:

That's 2 months of goalless streaks. Save for the current 5-gamer, it's pretty consistently good.

Now, Dzingel, on the other hand, has hit a HUGE rookie wall.
