Haven't seen lots of his films, but Tango is a go-to movie for the gf and I. His relationship with Geraldine Chaplin produced a few very interesting films.

Spain’s Cinema Academy said Saura died Friday, a day before he was to receive an honorary Goya award for his prolific career.

What an amazing career. He devoted a good chunk of his career to Spanish and Argentine dance forms and nobody did it better.
