Damn that’s sad. Apparently he and Mel Brooks would have dinner every night. I hope Mel is ok. My best wishes to his son Rob as well and all his loved ones.

I actually didn't know much about him until I saw him in the Ocean's 11 remake. I thought he was great.

After that I looked him up and found out how important he was.

I had no idea that he was 98. I should've figured, though, since he was middle aged and already bald on The Dick Van Dyke Show way back in the 60s. Maybe people who bald early age well (see also: Patrick Stewart).

I followed Carl Reiner on Twitter. He was active almost every day, as sharp as ever, and was Tweeting up until his last day. What a life this man had! RIP.
