Andrew Hammond will likely debut in a starter role tomorrow against the Habs. With Anderson unable to hold his stick and Lehner injured it would seem the sens will have to fall back on struggling AHL goalie Hammond to start and struggling ECHL prospect Driegder to back up.

Based on Hammonds interview the day of Lehner's injury it seems like he thinks this is his real shot at trying to show he can play in the NHL.

It would feel good to see him succeed and use this opportunity to spring board to a NHL career but its unlikely with some posters calling his glove hand the worst theyve ever seen.

Anyways... Good luck Hammond:)

Damn he played well. Much prefer him as a back up to Lehner
