They want to get it in early and have the afternoon off: 9-10 you probably see guys on the ice - creatures of habit they usually practice at 10

Bruins’ Brandon Carlo glad to be back on his feet — and on skates - The Boston Globe

As captains practices are not organized by the team, the initial gathering did not feature Chara or top-liners Bergeron, Brad Marchand, and David Pastrnak. The forwards included second-line center David Krejci, potential top-six wing Danton Heinen, and grinder Chris Wagner. Krejci and Heinen, who could ride together this fall, spent a little time together during a two-on-two drill. Heinen flashed his skill on a few occasions, while the hit-first-hit-always Wagner spent some time playfully shoving Grzelcyk along the boards . . . Bruins skating coach Kim Brandvold directed traffic and offered pointers . . . Ex-Bruins in attendance: Matt Beleskey (Rangers), Lee Stempniak (in Carolina gear), Dominic Moore (in Toronto colors), and Colin Miller (of Vegas, in an NHLPA jersey) . . . Carlo on Toronto adding superstar center John Tavares: “I think we all know what happened this offseason, but in no way, shape, or form is this team intimidated by that.”
