Apparently Bear Hughes has moved to the Fargo Force of the USHL. One assist in three games so far. Glad to see another day prospect get back on the ice.

Scott Wheeler published his ranking of the Caps prospects this morning. He has them 23rd overall, based largely on the strength of McMichael and LaPierre, with their overall depth of prospects being relatively poor (my words).

Top 5, encompassing the top two 'Tiers' are:

1. McMichael
2. LaPierre
3. Alexeyev
4. Fehervary
5. Protas

No real big surprises there. He has Alexeyev over Fehervary due to seeing more upside with Alex.

But I was told that after his first 3 weeks in the 2nd toughest league in the world that he wasn't very good because his +/- was below average for his team, and it still is, so he must not be very good.

Yeah, sorry, I kept forgetting to reply to you.

There was a fair bit of hyperbole and over-dramatization in my post, it was some percentage me just being a smartass. But @Rayquaza64 is right about the source I was referring to. On the fourth page of LD Alexander Alexeyev (2018, 31st, WSH), the main Prospect board.
