So on the way to work I was listening to Lars Eller on the Sports Junkies, and heard from Eller that each and every Caps players had to name a song to the Caps marketing department to be played in the arena whenever they scored a goal. Kind of like a batter's walk-up song (I'm so sick of baby shark) or pitcher's entrance song. Which is kind of cool since unlike baseball, I don't remember a hockey team doing this.
I do remember random songs being played at Capital One Arena, but cannot for the life of me remember specifically exactly what songs or which player they belonged to through the TV.
I still haven't been to a Caps game physically yet this year (I know I know), but can you guys point to specific goal songs for each player?
Even Eller says he still doesn't know all of them and still will be surprised by some. Probably Panik's.
