it’s not the same tho. That team was slower out of the gate.. but never had a 30 game stretch in the heart of the season like this. They have been a well below average team for 30 games! That’s not fun to watch.. and knowing that the 2018 team won it all doesn’t help this team.
All that said, this is a good team and if the right adjustments are made at the right time, they can make a run. Everyone else is flawed too.. more so than ever it feels like.

I would ask you to look at the Cup season. That team had a 10-10-4 stretch that they pulled out of in game 68.

Are we going to argue that 15-14-1 over 30 is significantly worse than 10-10-4 over 24? I’d hope not. (And if you stretched it out — they were 15-11-6 going back even further — which means they won 15/32 games. This years team won 15/30 games).

so...yeah.
