It sure can't get any worse than it already is. Vrana is just that type of player who just doesn't have what it takes to contribute to a positional offense. He excels in transition, in chaos.

Kuzy’s play has been very encouraging the past few weeks.

Ehh, I'd argue the last couple/few games. Hopefully it's a permanent trend in the right direction. He has just had to cut the boneheaded and lazy line changes and defense. Seems like Lavi won't put up with his shit, either. Can't believe we have to light a fire like that under Kuzy, but, something has got to get him to give it his 100% all the time. A shame he doesn't have that drive on his own enough ('18 Cup run), or, he'd be one of the most dominant players in the league.

Backstrom's conditioning looks so much better this year. He is just so much crisper and he looks like he's already in better shape and lighter on his feet and stick. Have a feeling that he was also dealing with some injury issues last year, as well.
