Good game, pretty entertaining for the most part but positioning and overall game in their own end is pretty bad, even irritating at times. How the hell they gonna win playoff games with that is a rhetorical question.
He’s unlikely too do much this early. They’re leading the league and are up against the cap. He’s smart to wait.
He needs to do something. Gudas and Jensen are not going to cut it.

Ovechkin's one timer will keep him a productive goalscorer for a very long time. But in other aspects of his game, he has been poor for a while now, as evidenced by the failure to score that very easy (for an NHL player) tip-in in OT.

Guess they're now 9-0-3.

I'll take the 2 pts and the ROW but the team didn't seem ready for this one.

See my post above yours. Also the Caps dominated the first 30 minutes everywhere but on the scoreboard. Ironically the Bolts best period was the third. It's a crazy game isn't it?

So 1 goal, 7 shots on net, 6, hits, 1 giveaway, 1 takeaway, 1 blocked shot, in 20:57 of ice time is not good enough? His possession numbers were bad this game but he is still way over 50% on the season as well.
