TT - Rask - Williams
Aho - Stall - Lindholm
Skinner - Ryan - Stempniak
Nordstrom - Kruger - Jooris
McGinn/ PDG

Slavin - Pesce
Hanifin - Faulk
Fleury - TVR
Dahlbeck

This team sniffs the playoffs....but could slide in with continued growth by Aho, Lindholm, TT, and a return of the previous season's Rask.

That Stall guy needs to play like the old Staal guy.

On the Performance Bonuses after 65 games we can note the following:

Sebastian Aho at 23G/27A/50P/0.82PpGP is projecting to max out his $850k and has categories to spare.

Aho has secured 20+ goals for $212.500 and is on the pace to meet the 60P and >0.73PpGP limits for 2 x $212.500. He needs 10 more points to secure the Points category and 7 more points to secure the PpGP category. He is only teensiest bit out of all-season pace for the needed 35A to get $212.500 in the Assists category.

Aho is 2nd in team forwards +/- for another $212.500 (Top 3 needed). Aho is 4th in team forwards ToI and 2nd in ToI/GP. Being in Top 6 for either unlocks $212.500 in the ToI category.

All in all the Finnboy is looking at some serious bona like he had accidentally wandered into a wrong kind of sauna.

Noah Hanifin at 8G/20A/28P/0.43PpGP isn't too far from meeting some of the demanded Defender stats (10G/25A/40P/0.49PpGP). He is on pace for 10G and 25A (plus fractions), needing 2 Goals and 5 Assists to secure 2 x $212.500. The 12 points needed in remaining 17 games to meet the P and PpGP categories seems like too tall an order.

Hanifin is 3rd in Defender ToI and 4th in ToI/GP projecting for $212.500 in the category (Top 4 needed). Abysmal +/- and being 6th in Blocked Shots (Top 2 needed) isn't bringing in any mony.

The All-Star Game appearance secured Hanifin $212.500 because Canes and the new money guy are cool like that.

Thusly also Hanifin is projecting for full $850k but can't afford to drop his points performance one bit.

Haydn Fleury (0G/6A/6P/0.12PpGP) isn't projecting to get any of his potential max $850k.

Fleury is 6th in ToI and 5th in ToI/GP (Defenders) likely not making his way to the needed Top 4. At 78 Blocked Shots he's 15 behind from the current 2nd Pesce. His +/- is no good.

Jaccob Slavin ($133k) and Brett Pesce ($32.5k) will get their pesky Games Played bonuses for having managed to tag along mainly because we are not deep in material like the good teams like Leafs are.

Lucas Wallmark has played 9 games up in the N this season. Assuming his $25k is a 10+ Games Played bonus, he's probably not getting it. It could be a 5 GP bonus ($25k is the max allowed), but his previous seasons' $100k and $75k suggest that it also is a 10+ Games one for his last ELC season.

At 80 Games mark we note of the Performance Bonuses:

Sebastian Aho has maxed out his $850k. 28 G, 36 A, 64 P and 0.84 PpGP (that can't mathematically drop below 0.73 anymore) made it a slam dunk on pure numbers categories alone. Also will have Top 3 forward in +/- and Top 6 forward in ToI categories bagged and is to be considered a Category 6 Hurricane. (Not that anyone would be counting, but Marner will have only five unlocked and Nylander needs to score a goal yet in remaining two to match Aho. Nylander maxes out his bonuses due to PpGP if he doesn't play anymore, but if he does and fails to score a point he finishes with unmaxed bonuses and only three pitiful bonus categories unlocked, with Matthews as his center.)

Noah Hanifin is looking at $637.500 from the 3 categories of Goals (10), Top 4 defender ToI and All-Stars Game appearance. Watch out for people trying to give him the 4 assists in the remaining games to max out.

Haydn Fleury, thank you for participating.

No changes in Jaccob Slavin ($133k) and Brett Pesce ($32.5k) who still have enough games played for their money. Might as well have just paid them the honest salary of $925k from the start.

Lucas Wallmark
with his 11 NHL games likely gets his $25k after all.

Valentin Zykov ($147.500) and Roland McKeown ($157.500) both sit at 8 Games Played with two to go and in the active roster, and possibly will be good for their Games Played bonus (if it's for 10 annd not for 'more than 10').

With ~$15M in free Cap space, there will be no bonus overages to reduce the next season's Cap, which is nice because we will like our group even better when Tavares is in it.

In case you were wondering, it was the 1st assist on Teravainen's 4-4 goal against Arizona on March 22nd that secured Aho his Assist #35, Point #60 and the all four points categories grandslam.

In comparison to some arbitrarily selected lower tier players, it was on the same night that Mitch Marner, he of pitiful 5 Categories, scored his Goal #20 to finish his own points categories grandslam. William Nylander only got his Goal #20 and Point #60 last night to secure his points categories. Aho scored his Goal #20 in Feb 9th against Canucks.

The individually negotiated ELC Schedule A Performance Bonuses as listed in Exhibit 5 of the CBA are allowed to have 9 categories, each of which can pay $212.500 at the max. Aho not being eligible for All-Rookie Team and (due to reasons outside his own powers and because of playing in a not-hockey-mecca team) not participating in the All-Stars Game or becoming the MVP therewith, got all the six categories that were available to him.
