IR means the player cannot play for at least 7 days. They did put Stafford on IR. Putting Myers on IR would mean he misses the whole road trip.

The Jets want Copp to play significant minutes in the AHL. They want to see if he can be more than a 4th line center. I think they'd like to hold back on calling him up for a while.

Thorburn over Dano makes no sense to anyone though.

Thanks. So when someone is D2D you can't bring anyone up to replace them right -- unless you have a huge # of injuries that is where you physically need bodies.

I don't mind this strategy I think Andrew has shown some talent and some offensive chops when he is given decent line mates. Give him a more prominent role in the AHL and lets see if he develops.

There can only be 23 players on the active roster. DTD injuries don't normally go on IR . It can happen retroactively to when they were injured. So Stafford is eligible to come off IR tomorrow since he was retro'd to oct 25.

Teams don't always carry 23 players. Those Teams can make a callup without any other roster move provided it fits under the cap.

If I was Laine I'd try my hardest to score another one and play as tough as I can. Obviously the chant would not be true, but Laine definitely wouldn't get comfortable from it.

Can someone explain to me why Laine is playing on the RW? I thought he was doing fine on the left side and since his right handed, wouldn't it make more sense to play him there? He can shoot and cut inside from that side. Same with Connor on the RW.
