Loved that period. Offense pressed the overmatched bruins D, the defense looked good versus the big name bruins, and the pk looked good. Also VV came up big the few times he needed to.

Boston fighting at the puck drop was so stupid. Caps are stronger and bigger then the Bruins - and Boston right off bat wanted a physical game.

Sadly for Boston, the Caps are also better at hockey than the Bruins.

So up to the Bruins. They can lose to the Caps (as usual) in hockey... or they can lose and also get beat up doing it. Seems like they want the latter option.

Also, with how Boston came out today - very playoff like. Love how caps just buckled down, we’re very comfortable in a game like this, and are dominating. Good to see.

also, VV may be the 1 after this game. We may finally have a go-to starter down the stretch.
