Hot or Not?

Well, last night, Not Hot and they had both Dixon and Sheppard in the lineup.
Those weak Eagles
Cape Breton 4 - PEI 1
Cape Breton - 5 - Chicoutimi 1 (With junior A Backup In Nets)
Cape Breton 9 - PEI 1

What ever team draws Cape Breton in the playoffs will be kicking themselves cause this group of players won't quit. Next year if Houle and Dixon stay as a 20 year olds we will be a memorial cup threat.

Phenom James Sheppard is starting to heat up after a fairly slow start. After tonights 5 point performence he now has 34 points in 44 games as a 16 year old in the QMJHL. Right now he is 6`2 195 so I am guessing he may fill out to 6`4 210. He should be a lock to go in the top ten for the 2006 entry draft.

-Great defensivly at the age of 16
-Plays with an edge and is physical
-Jeff Carter like speed
-Amazing hockey sense
-Great shot
-Great attitude

For those who thought Breault was hands down the best player at last years draft because of his offensive skills.

James Sheppard:
QMJHL = 12 goals, 22 assists, 34 points in 44 games +14
Under 17 = 6 goals, 4 assists , 10 points in 6 games

Benjamin Breault:
QMJHL = 8 goals, 16 assists, 24 points in 37 games -15
Under 17 = 2 goals, 3 assists, 5 points in 5 games

Jason,isn't it enough to have one "phenom" in the Q.Sheppard might be good
but he isn't that good.

He is the best 16 year old in the league by a large margin. I think thats good enough to be considered a phenom.
