I agree. I loved Artem Chubarov.
He's one of my all-time favorite Canucks.
My point was, that I think Pinner will easily fill the role Volpatti had, and bring more to the table. Pinner missed a few hits, but had he not, the opposing player is feeling it the next morning. What I saw last game from Pinner, was he's going to hit you, and he wants you to feel it. I think Pinner can add some offensive ability on that fourth line as well, although he does have two guys who don't exactly fit that bill on his line, but we'll see.
Very happy to finally see him in the lineup, it's been too long of a wait.
Well, I was a Chubarov fan as well, but the only thing for which he's legendary is leaving his car in the GM Place garage. It might still be there.
Tell him it is still there and when he comes to get it kidnap him and force him to play for us.
This blog was already calling for him to get a shot with the Caps a long time ago:
I was hoping you wouldn't take that literally.
I was just taking the opportunity to bring up the old story about the car (and retaliating for what I thought was an oblique, good-natured shot at my user name -- What, Lars Lindgren isn't legendary?).
