Obvious reason he was in on the trade. The whole purpose of this trade was to get Demko to the NHL. McKenna clears and it's done.

TO is the only team that looks to need anything of NHL level with 2 ECHL keepers playing for the Leafs at the moment. Maybe Jimbo works that deal with them in exchange for the Gagner debacle. They get McKenna until one of their keepers comes back and then they loan McKenna to the Comets.

Wouldn't that be priceless. (Of course they can't give us Price, he's a Montreal product. LOL. Not even funny?

Pickard is a yote, elliot/Stolarz are injured. Neuvirth and Lyon are just coming back from injury. They plan on sending hart back to the A. Running with neuvy and McKenna. With hart and Lyon in the minors. Once elliot or Stolarz are back Philly will be raining goalies

Why didn't they have Ottawa clear him for AHL before doing the deal? Or make it a conditionally higher/additional pick if he didn't clear, so we had the assets to get someone for Utica?
