Sorry, I meant 9 years in the league already. Doesn't change my point that hes likely not playing in the NHL for 18 years...hes on the back 9 now.

I still don't get why you're judging players by how many years they've been in the league rather than age. Does it make a difference that he played in the NHL as a 19 year old rather than entering as a 23 year old for example?

I get it if JT was 30 or even a bit less than that, but he's 27 man. We can get around 4-5 years of solid production, the end of which we'll hopefully be contenders. And if we're not at that point, then you ship him out for value.
