Hey man, Booth did well after being scratched for a few games. Alberts has been a healthy scratch for like 10x longer, so maybe he'll be 10x better.
Is it too early for an Andrew Alberts appreciation thread?
Joking aside, I have to admire Alberts for having such a long NHL career with pretty marginal talent. The guy has played 480 games. That's pretty impressive.

Who knows with the Canucks medical staff. These are the same guys that stood Mason Raymond up and skated him off the ice with a broken neck and gave Burrows 1 stitch and let him go back out and play with a broken jaw that needed surgery.

one player, although played decent and doing the right things but that cant score is injured , and another who has been just god awful for the majority of the season is injured

Not to be a negative Nancy but honestly, if there's a season to get completely injury riddled this is probably it. I'm sure curious how long Alberts gets to play, sometimes I think he's perfectly suited for his role on this team because when he's been out for awhile and comes back in he has a lot of energy (who wouldn't after being out for so long) and is fun to watch him hit everything in sight, before inevitably, after playing a couple games in a row his lack of talent and vision catches up with him and he looks like a pylon out there (at which point we call up Corrado). What is the over under on games played by Alberts before they dress Corrado anyhow? I say 2.5. The over under before calling up Corrado? 0.5
