@VanCanucks: Burrows sustained an upper body injury & was taken to hospital after practice this morning for precautionary reasons. Will not play tonight.

you'd think if he was taken in a stretcher that it's something more than a wrist injury as speculated

Outside fan here so obviously I hate burrows (one of those guys you hate unless he's on your team), but hate to hear of a player having to leave via ambulance more than I hate burrows.
Hopefully it is nothing too severe and he is back for Game 5.

I thought it was a joke at first.

I wish him the best so he can get creamed while playing Hockey as he deserves.

Maybe a cut?

Welp that's two of the three winger options for the Sedins out with injuries now. We're in tough.

Get well soon Burr, see you next season. :(

Not to mention with a broken rib, you'd risk puncturing your lung.
It's not like you can wear a cast for your rib.

Awww no. Poor Burr! Horrible news. That's our go-to god of overtime. Horvat, this is your time to make your name legend.

Also: I can't believe what terrible timing this is for an injury for him, and in practice no less. He must be so frustrated.
