The the only problem is to keep the games tight. Easier said then done.

We will make the playoffs. Outside of Montreal and Flames the other teams have tire fire defences. The problem is we won;t make any noise and it will just buy Jimbo another year. As i said before i would keep Jimbo for scouting but we need another GM/President to handle the business and build the team.

It really isn't. Every other team in the league - Ottawa included - have better shot suppression metrics than we do. Any system would be an improvement on what we currently have. And while I don't think that the turn around will be super fast, if we stick with Green, we are going to continue on this death spiral, which will be deleterious to our young core's confidence and their development.

Enter Gerard Gallant. We all like the way Vegas played when he was coaching. I don't know if we have the speed to do it but at least we would have a proven coach.
