If benning had any integrity he’d issue a letter of apology for this dumpster fire he left us with.

He won’t, his ego won’t let him plus he knows Vancouver remembers the bad he gave us.

The only thing memorable of his tenure is his daughters Instagram ‘modelling’ career.

I've heard this from others as well.

The crazy thing is that Benning's younger brother Mark was smart enough to get into Harvard (where he was a teammate of Peter Chiarelli and Don Sweeney - which is the connection that Jim rode to management jobs in the NHL) but has never worked in pro hockey in any capacity.

Not really crazy. Let's check Ancient Greek Mythology:

Prometheus: "Titan God of Fire. Prometheus is known for his intelligence and for being a champion of humankind". Well that clearly ain't Jim Benning. More like Mark Benning.
Epimetheus: "Brother of Prometheus. While Prometheus is characterized as ingenious and clever, Epimetheus is depicted as foolish/bumbling.". I wonder who that describes?

Wow. I just looked into it and Mark Benning later got an MBA from Stanford and became a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and venture capitalist.
