I voted Molino, but I think we are sleeping on McKenzie a little bit, was PPG in the O last season as a 19 year old, not bad. I'll probably vote him next

Molino easy...

After that its pretty much long shots or in some cases not likely to be signed (talent/KHL).

It's easily Molino for me.....kind of shocking the way he played down the stretch last season....granted it was 'garbage time' in the schedule, but you can see this guy's wheels are elite.

Hope that the Bill Sweatt II comparisons aren't accurate...but for a 'meh' signing out of the NCAA, he's looked decent so far.

Yeah, but that ranking could change pretty quickly once camp and the AHL season begin.

Change up or down, mind you. I'm betting on up, but we'll see. It's probably unrealistic,
but I've been dreaming of Gadjovich, MacEwen, and Virtanen as a wrecking-ball line some day.
Trouble is, on a line like that, who's going to come back really fast to help the D?

I honestly don't know why we don't do these after training camp when we'll have a closer look at our prospects, followed up with mid season, and end of season polls. Doing it now means that we have limited first-hand info to go on for our newly drafted prospects.

because we get bored easily. I agree we should do this every quarter or so, but with nothing else going on ... agreed we should redo it in 2 months time and then argue endlessly about who was right and who was wrong.

Trouble is, is 2/3's of that line even going to be a regular? Hell, is 3/3 going to be a regular.

I'm not holding my breath on two of those guys.

Agreed about the 2/3 and continued breathing. But this tournament,
so far, has persuaded me that the 18-year-old Jonah Gadjovich has the
right stuff to become a 20 or 21-year-old Canuck. He has the mind and
the body for it, which really can't be questioned if you watch his play.
His wheels are still somewhat in question, but it would be interesting to compare
his skating with Tkachuk's as of last summer. As we know from Bo, skating
can be improved with hard work, and I feel confident that Jonah
could do a whale of a job of it :dm:

That's my feeling as well, no reason not to do more of these. It's just that this poll takes place at the worst time for actually ranking things.
