Will most likely be the first Stadium Series game after fans are allowed back. It's why it was postponed and not canceled.

The ice conditions would have been crap. Temperature was in the mid-40s with direct sunlight on the field throughout the day. Almost exactly what the weather was like in Lake Tahoe this weekend.

Would it have been delayed, I don't know, but the conditions would have been a problem for the players (not the tailgaters).

They keep the reflective sheet over the ice while the sun is out. Ice would have been fine for our game had it gone as planned.

Of course, if it had been a 7pm start, it would have been great for the hockey and the tailgaters would be sufficiently smashed before the game. The leagues selection of opponent would dictate whether this is a feature or a bug.
