I don't think they're going to the olympics.

Hypothetically speaking if the NHL agrees with IIHF. I think they have too, players would be too upset, especially guys like Ovechkin and Kovalchuk in their home country.

lots of time between now and then......having said that I see the following guys in the race for the job.....

ward-injuries are the only thing holding him back from 1 of the 3 g's
price- I think he has an inside shot at the #1 job
MAF-depends on what he does for the pens in the next 2 seasons
Bernier-could be the guy if he gets a #1 Gig in the nhl...but I figure he is 1 of 3 cause he may be the guy in 2018
luongo-who knows with this guy....

price, ward, MAF. in no order. all three are on the same level to me. maybe price ahead because of his WJC experience?

no way in hell they invite luongo back

Luongo almost choked last time. Don't see him being the starter this time.

I agree w/ most saying it'll be one of MAF, Ward or Price.

IMO, Fleury will have the most playoff success over the next few years of the three so I'll give him the edge.

I think it'll be Luongo simply because he's who we won with in Vancouver. If he screws up I presume they'll put Fleury in. Then Ward.

Personally, I would like to see Price, Ward, then Luongo.
