I'm really happy that Couture seems to be a lock for the team. Really hoping they take Benn as well. I foresee those two being really important players if they're to win Gold.

And please don't take Kunitz. Good player but he won't be effective in this format.

I just want to see him out there for Canada's powerplays. Even if he has sheltered minutes at 5 on 5, he's the best option canada has for offense from the back end. Even if Keith is tearing it up with points right now.

Keith can't make plays like karlsson and subban. He produces at a karlsson level when on an offensive juggernaut which is misleading and thats why I want subban on the team.

Ummmm, why? I like all 6+2 D in the OP better for the Olympics than PK. Not to say PK is a slouch, because he is not. But to put on the maple leaf and play for us in the biggest all star tournament in the world means checking your ego at the door and accepting whatever role you have. PK is too immature for that way of thinking right now, but if NHL players are still allowed to go for 2018 I can definitely see him there.

I don't think his attitude was that bad this year.

i'm going to guess he's less liked than a lot of other guys. players do play better when they like their team mates no?

Wasn't richards a flyer when he made the team last time? I didn't hear a peep about him and crosby getting into it.

Subban is a competitor and professional, like everyone else.

He brings a dynamic that no one else on the team does from the blueline to the same extent he is capable of.

If he pulls his premadona ********, shelter his minutes and use him on the PP.

Gotta bring the best players, and Subban is one of the best.

He's such a liability...his coach plays him more minutes than anyone on the team and he's a +13 on a team that doesn't score many goals at even strength...and he plays against the oppositions best every night
