With the Olympic roster set to be revealed on Tuesday, I'd love to see some of your lineup predictions. Here's my best attempt:

    Bouwmeester - Pietrangelo
    EXTRAS: Vlasic, Letang

    #1 Price
    #2 Luongo
    EXTRA: Crawford

Biggest Snubs: St. Louis, Thornton, Hall, Eberle, Subban, Boyle, M. Staal, Hamhuis

Its going to be hilarious if he isn't. He deserves to be there though.

    It certainly would be!

I just want to see him out there for Canada's powerplays. Even if he has sheltered minutes at 5 on 5, he's the best option canada has for offense from the back end. Even if Keith is tearing it up with points right now.

Not going to predict who will make the team. Too tough to do that. On the other hand, my guess is we pick pluggers and slow guys as usual (like the WJC), and lose on the International ice.

Can u imagine the fallout if Canada fails to medal at the Olympics too?

The sky will be falling in chunks the size of Dustin Byfuglien

Ummmm, why? I like all 6+2 D in the OP better for the Olympics than PK. Not to say PK is a slouch, because he is not. But to put on the maple leaf and play for us in the biggest all star tournament in the world means checking your ego at the door and accepting whatever role you have. PK is too immature for that way of thinking right now, but if NHL players are still allowed to go for 2018 I can definitely see him there.

He brings a dynamic that no one else on the team does from the blueline to the same extent he is capable of.

If he pulls his premadona ********, shelter his minutes and use him on the PP.

Gotta bring the best players, and Subban is one of the best.

Am I alone in wanting Brian Campbell in the line-up? We need a great skater and PMD like him on the big ice.

    Here's my prediction:

    Tavares-Crosby-Stamkos
    Duchene-Getzlaf-Perry
    Sharp-Toews-Giroux
    Couture-Bergeron-St.Louis

    Extras: Nash, Benn

    Keith-Seabrook
    Doughty-Weber
    Bouwmeester-Pietrangelo

    Extras: Vlasic, Subban

    Price
    Luongo

    Extra: Crawford

If I'm the GM I'd make a few different picks, including not taking Subban.

    And that's why you're not GM. :D

If Subban isn't a lock to make this team by now, not sure what hockey you and the Hockey Canada folks are watching.

I'm not going to dispute wether you know more than Hockey Canada, but....

After I saw Soupcan take that stupid penalty at the dying minutes of the SENS game, which cost the Habs the game by that time, I've seen enough.

Also in the 1st period when he was holding down Turris behind the net. That won't be tolerated in the Olympics.

No wonder he's on the bubble, he's still a liability!

I've watched an extremely talented player who is volatile and could cost Canada a gold medal with a selfish decision at a key time of a game. He's not worth the risk IMO...but different strokes for different folks.
