I really think Kenny Petkau should have been in there ahead of Micheal Kaye. Kaye didn't even make it into all of Lethbridges games, and they were a pretty weak team, where Petkau played every game.

My Team:

Goal
Jean-Phillippe Levasseur Magog (Qaaa) 6'0 182
Carey Price Tri-City 6'3 212

Defensemen
Luc Bourdon Val d'or (QMJHL) 6'2 185
Scott Jackson Seattle (WHL) 6'4 195
Dustin Kohn Calgary (WHL) 6'1 180
Patrick McNeil Saginaw (OHL) 6'0 180
Jean-Phillipe Paquet Shawinigan (QMJHL) 6'2 203
Marc Staal Sudbury (OHL) 6'2 180
Ryan Wilson Toronto (OHL) 6'1 207

Forwards
Cody Bass Mississauga (OHL) 5'11 170
Dan Bertram Camrose (AJHL) 5'10 175
Brock Bradford Coquitlam (BCHL) 5'10 160
Gilbert Brule Vancouver (WHL) 5'10 165
Cogliano, Andrew St. Michael (OHA) 5'9 170
Nick Drazenovic Prince George (WHL) 6'0 159
Chris Durand Seattle (WHL) 6'1 180
Guillaume Latendresse Drummondville (QMJHL) 6'2 215
Chris Lawrence Sault Ste. Marie (OHL) 6'4 181
Bryan Little Barrie (OHL) 5'10 177

Moosefan... Saulnier should make the team. He tore up U17 on a weaker team.

I am pulling for him anyway.

I would love to see Saulnier make it, and in most years I would say he would for sure, but though Saulnier can play any role on the team...going from a top line player to a checker, I think guys like Sutter will make the team based on who they know in hockey and stuff like that. If Saulnier makes the team though it wouldn't shock me the least as I think so far he is very underrated for his talents. I can see him going 2nd round next year in the NHL draft.

Don't count Butler out

He outplayed Price at the U17 challenge, and finished that tourney with the best GAA and third best save percentage. His year in the WHL was significantly slowed by a broken collarbone, and a team that relied too heavily on one keeper.

Perhaps one of Butler's more stunning achievements in his 16 yr old rookie season was going into Kamloops, which many would call the "Montreal" of the WHL with the intensity of the fans and arena, and earning his first WHL shutout.

I wouldn't count him out.

Mior is a way better goalie than Price. Seen both play and Mior is way ahead of Price and Levasseur is a little bit better than Mior.

I question how much you saw of Price and when the last time you saw him live was. He was outstanding in the last half of the year.

TOO tough to call :) Everyone in here is a homer anyway hehe

All these players are so close in talent that most of the decisions will be coin flips.

I`m not being a biased fan here, however, both Staal and Lamb should be on the team. Both are that good and even better in clutch situations. Lamb had two goals and game MVP honours for Ontario at the U17 gold medal match, and Staal is maturing more and more into a very solid stay at home defenseman, although he proved he can have an offensive touch during the playoffs for the Wolves, will be intresting to see how well that offensive touch continues to develop this season for the Wolves. As well, they got an excellent coach in Sudbury in Mike Foligno, former Leafs player and Hershey(AHL), so there continued development will not be a problem. Also, Bryan Little should also be a shoe in for the team, he looked stellar for Barrie when I saw him play this year.

Not bad picks. Although the team was announced over a wk. ago but you are
missing some key players as Staal, Little, Clune and Roelofsen. :)

You see, everyone knows the tryout camp was picked last week. However, I thought I'd take a crack at what I though the final roster for the team might look like.
