Speculation: Can you see TOR trading for a winger this season?

Yeah, I think Dubas tries to get a top 9 Forward back in this Nylander deal too, to go along with the top 4 D. So, something Like

Ferland + Pesce for Nylander

Simmonds + Sanheim for Nylander

Josh Anderson + Savard + Picks for Nylander

Konecny + Sanheim from Philly

Sitting at a desk.
So is Erik Karlsson potentially...News reports still won't confirm why Doug Wilson's limped ever since the deal and why his right hand looks strangely artificial.

This to say, Panarin is going to cost some team an arm and a leg and I don't think it should be us...not yet. Not until we've made some moves first for help on the back end.

Boston will nab Panarin and will be a top 3 team with Tampa and Nashville.

If I have to watch then win another cup before we get one...man.

They need a top 6 winger that will hit and help Matthews. That’s an absolute must. It would be nice to add another hard nosed player or two in the bottom 6 as well.

Can they get them with an inseason trade or do they need to wait until the draft?
I agree.
A couple of tough wingers and a tough defencemen.
Boston Bruins must laugh when they play us .
Kadri is our only one that trys to hit and he is not big enough to hurt anyone.
One way to slow down Marchant bergerBe and Pasternak is to hit them.
They seem to do what ever they want.

Would CLB do WN for Panarin straight up?
Given the length of control, I think they would. He, with KK on Matthews' line, would be ridiculous.
I think it's a really bad idea to trade Nylander for a rental. I'd do it if two conditions were met:

1. Panarin agree's to a long term extension with us (say 9M x 8, slightly less than Kucherov)
2. Columbus takes back Zaitsev, so it works out for us cap wise.

Still early, but I'd doubt it. I suppose maybe a rental around the trade deadline, if there's that need and the price makes sense.
