Not a Gardiner hater but I've suggested for a while to trade him for a pick and something else and use the pick to grab Gudas. We pick up assets, get another RHD, get tougher and a guy signed through next season.

all people need to do is look at oiGA/60

Rielly is having a career best 2.5 oiGA/60. Gardiner only had 2.5 or worse once (in his rookie year)

he's at 1.9 now... but muzzin is by far our best (1.8 CAREER wtffff)
