I feel more confident than a 20% chance.

I'm feeling better and better about the Jet's chances of bringing the Cup to Winnipeg. All teams that win the Stanley Cup usually have 2 things in common-"great scoring" and "unbelievable Goaltending"--and we have both. I really think we can do it.

Really great start in Nshville, and if we can take game 2-we'll be in the driver's seat !! !:thumbu:

Jet's are looking good now--and you'd have to rate their chances at this point up at around 30 %. If they win the next game vs the Preds--then all they'd have to do is win one of the "next 3" and their in the Western Conference final--likely against Vegas.

Looking good right now.

I'd say it's looking good right now !!!--it's starting to get real close. If the Jet's can take just one more game from the Preds--we are in the Western Conference finals, for the first time ever--and it's looking like we'd play Vegas if we get thru. Not for sure yet tho.

That would be great, as it would be a first for these 2 teams, and give a big boost to NHL hockey out in the desert. Can you imagine that--"an expansion team"--in the Western conference final for the first year of operation--quite "remarkable."

I think right now Jets are the clear cut favorite to win it all. A loss on Monday would change that though.

I have more respect for TB than any other opponent.
TB vs. Jets with our home ice advantage would/will be a great series.

TB might have something to say about that...

Strictly speaking, even if only because they have a much higher chance than we do of winning their series (being up 3-1 instead of 3-2) TB is the current favorite. Let's see how the dust settles when round 3 starts with an even slate. Whichever of TB or Winnipeg would be a cup favorite, it ain't gonna be by much.

Vegas has a Very good team.

Your "right on"and Vegas is a very underrated team. They don't have any superstars, but they really have a lot of upper middle players, that play as team-no heros-- just a whole unit playing together.

I guess you could say Fleury their Goalie is a star. I'm not to crazy about talking about Vegas yet--as the Preds are a long way from "finished"-- but you never know--we just may blow them out again. We'll see what kind of "will and resolve" they have.

My prediction--is they have a lot, and this will be a very close game. I give the edge to the Jets for Goaltending, and more scoring power though.

I believe Jets have to be the favourites now, even if TB might be close. I put some money on Jets winning SC yesterday before game 5. They gave 8:1 odds for the Jets cup win. Tb odds were around 4.5:1. Go figure..

Hypothetically, if we beat Nashville and play Vegas.

What style is Vegas playing? Are they trapping, tight defensive or do they run and gun? Because I'm hoping its the latter so we can hopefully outgun them like we are against Nashville when games open up.

Vegas isn't trapping, they're playing a very fast smart opportunistic game where they capitalize on the other teams' mistakes, very well coached. Fleury's playing very well.
