JR stopped listening to the scouts and is now only listening to himself because he’s a goaltender expert. Someone needs to double up on his meds.

You know, it might have been nice to take a center? Yes? JR: NO!

To me, JR is just replenishing the goalie prospect pool that has been neglected for years. The Penguins have only drafted 1 goalie since 2013, that was Gustavsson and he's no longer in the organization. I don't have a problem with him getting some goaltending talent, especially considering the last Penguins goalie taken in the 3rd round was Murray.

He's a guy I feel could have been taken with a later pick, so I'm not sure I get not trading down here.

Lol, not gonna lie, when I woke up from the nap I took after the Pens' 2nd round and immediately saw they drafted another goalie I actually said "what the f***" out loud. Not that I'm against it, just that it's so unconventional I really wasn't expecting it, haha

I mean... I'm like 90% sure it's the scouting team that are making the decisions, not JR

Idk if you're JR you can't be taking a goalie with you're 1st and 2nd pick.

I say just go all the way at this point, take a goalie with the next 3 picks.
